 Tools recommended for installing the Locker: (from left) Wrench, Screwdriver, Hand Drill, Mallet, Hammer, Wood Glue |
Hardware included in the package: (from left) Wrench-(1), 2" Screws-(40), Small Screws-(16), Wood Dowels-(56), Pin-(24), Can Locks-(24) |
Unpack and identify all the boards from the package (from left):

Detail: The Top Shelf Board(TSB) is a narrow board with no holes and slot on one side. (click the picture to see larger image) |

Backboards:

 use wood glue for all wood dowels and holes of all vertical boards |
Warning: Make sure to hammer the wood dowels all the way into the vertical boards, (leaving about 3/8” out), to avoid damaging the horizontal shelf boards.
Learningground is not liable if the installer misses this step. |
 make sure do it on both ends |
 install wood dowels on all vertical boards
Top Vertical Boards (TVB)-(4), Bottom Vertical Boards (BVB)-(4), Middle Vertical Boards (MVB)-(4) |
 lay the Top Shelf Board(TSB) upside down (with the side of holes up)
Warning: never hammer wood dowels directly on horizontal shelf boards, to avoid damaging the board from other side. |
drop glue in holes for wood dowels |
 install pins |
 fasten pins with screwdriver |
 install Top Vertical Boards (TVB)-(4) gently by hand |
 put cams in for the cam locks |
 make sure the back side line up with the slot for backboard |
 lock the cam lock with screwdriver |
 put glue in holes for wood dowels on the Mid Shelf Board(MSB) |
 install the Mid Shelf Board(MSB) |
 make sure the slots for backboards on the same side |
 secure the board with 2" screws |
 use the hand drill |
 or wrench |
put glue in holes for wood dowels on the Mid Shelf Board(MSB) |
install pins on the Mid Shelf Board(MSB) |
 fasten pins with screwdriver |
 install Middle Vertical Boards (MVB)-(4) |
 secure board with cam locks |
 make sure the backside is lined up with the slot for backboard |
 put glue in the holes of the Mid Bench Board(MSB) |
install the Mid Bench Board(MSB) |
 secure the Mid Bench Board(MSB) with 2" screws |
 fasten the screws |
 put glue in the holes for wood dowels on the other side of the Mid Bench Board(MSB) |
 install pins |
install the Bottom Vertical Boards (BVB)-(4) |
fasten the boards with cam locks |
 put glue in the holes of the The Bottom Shelf Board(BSB) |
 install the The Bottom Shelf Board(BSB) |
 fasten the board with 2" screws |
 put the glue on the holes for toe kick boards |
 install wood dowels on Toe Kick Boards (TK1-with logo), (TK2 without logo) |
 install the Toe Kick Boards and make sure the logo is in front of the furniture |
 turn the furniture side way |
put glue in the holes on ends of the boards |
 insert wood dowels and hammer them in |

drop the glue in the holes for wood dowels on the The Left Side Board(SB-L) |
install the The Left Side Board(SB-L) |
 fasten the board with 2" screws |
 turn the furniture to the other side |
install the Top Shelf Backboard (TBB) |
install the Bottom Shelf Backboard (BBB) |
 install one of the Middle Shelf Backboards (MBB) |
install the Middle Shelf Center Backboard (MCBB) |
install the other Middle Shelf Backboard (MBB) |
drop glue in the holes at the end of the shelf boards |
 insert wood dowels and hammer them in |
put glue in the holes on the The Right Side Board(SB-R) |
 fasten the board with 2" screws |
install the Middle Shelf Strips (MS)-(2) to cover the gapes of backboards, with small screws |
 secure the backboards with small screws |
finished look

install the coat hooks. (Coat hooks are not included.)

You may purchase the coat hooks at any building supply or hardware stores, such as Home Depot, Lowe's, or ACE, etc.
