Tools recommended for the installation

Hardware: 28 wood dowels, 18 2" screws, 6 cam-lock pins, 6 cam-lock caps, 2 small screws (black).

check all the packed boards with labels: (from left) 1 Top Horizontal Board (THB), 1 Middle Horizontal Board (MHB), 1 Bottom Horizontal Board (BHB)

identify each board when unpack the wrappings.

 

 

check all the packed boards with labels: (from left) 1 Top Vertical Board (TVB), 2 Bottom Horizontal Boards (BVB), 1Base Board (BB), 2 Side Boards (SB)

identify each board when unpack the wrappings

identify each board when unpack the wrappings

drop wood glue in the holes for wood dowels on the end of all Vertical Boards ( TVB, BVB)

place wood dowels in the holes for wood dowels (middle)

 

 

 

 

you can put wood dowels in all holes at the end of Vertical Boards at one time. (TVB, BVB)

 

pay attention to the size of the holes for wood dowels

hammer the wood dowels all the way into the holes

 

 

 

Warning: Make sure to hammer the wood dowels all the way into the vertical boards, (leaving about 3/8” out), to avoid damaging the Horizontal Boards.

do the same at the other end of the Vertical Boards (TVB, BVB)

 

 

hammer wood dowels to the two ends of the Horizontal Boards (THB, MHB, BHB)

hammer wood dowels to the two ends of the Horizontal Boards

hammer wood dowels to the Base Boards (BB)

lay the Top Horizontal Board (THB) on a table. The Top Horizontal Board board is the one with no holes on one side

 

 

turn the THB to the other side. there are 2 holes (middle) for wood dowels, and 2 holes for cam-lock pines.

Warning: never hammer wood dowels directly on Horizontal Boards, to avoid damaging the board from other side.

 

drop glue in the holes for wood dowel on Top Horizontal Board

install cam-lock pins gently by hand and fasten the pins with a screw driver

install 2 cam-lock pins

install the Top Vertical Board (with label) by lining up the holes with the cam-lock pins

gently push the board down with hand

install the cam-lock caps and secure them with a screwdriver

 

 

place the Middle Horizontal Board (MHB) on the table

install 4 cam-lock pins as you did with the THB before

drop wood glue in the holes for wood dowels

install 2 Bottom Vertical Boards (BVB) by lining up the holes with the cam-lock pins

secure the cam-lock caps with a screwdriver

 

place Bottom Horizontal Board (BHB)

insert 4 2" screws in the holes

Fasten the 2" screws with the wrench (supplied)

or a power screwdriver

drop glue in the wood dowel holes on the BHB

install the Base Board (BB)

MHB and BHB are ready for next step

lay installed pieces of THB, MHB and BHB on the floor

insert the wood dowels from the TVB into the MHB

insert 2 2" screws

fasten the 2" screws with a wrench or a power screwdriver

all boards are now installed together

drop glues in the holes for wood dowels on 2 Side Boards (SB)

 

Warning: never install and hammer wood dowels directly on Side Boards, to avoid damaging the board from other side.

install the Side Board by lining up the holes with the wood dowels, and push with hand gently

 

Make sure the bottom of the Side Board is at the same side as the Base Board

insert 6 2" screws in the holes

fasten the 2' screws with

... the wrench

or a power screwdriver

Do the same for the other Side Board at the other end

Turn the furniture on its base

insert 2 small screws (black) in the middle holes on the Bottom Horizontal board

secure black screws into the Base Board with a power screwdriver

finished look
